WELCOME TOO THE TACK ROOM

Hello and welcome to the new part of my blog 'the tack room' for those of you who don't know I'm Meg and i'm one of those crazy horse ladies who never outgrew the pony mad stage in life. I have just taken a little break from riding for a few year while I studied and got settled into 'adult' life though so now back in the saddle I thought it was only fitting to create part of my blog for the equestrian side of my country life. I wanted somewhere to share my stories, post my pony spam, write some product reviews, introduce you to my favorite equestrian brands and have some guest bloggers too.

I want my blogs to be honest, the real life side of horses, the mud, the tears, the passion. I want a place to share my thoughts and feelings, the good and the bad times and just have a place to log my horsey journey, hopefully to eventually look back this time next year and see how much we've improved and see that missing that one day of riding really wasn't the end of the world.

So why in the tack room? I find naming things hard, I wanted something that captured equestrianism in a way that brought everyone together. Thinking back to yards ive worked on, the college yard I studied at, livery yards etc the one room that brings everyone together is always the tack room. No matter what discipline, whether you've just come back from showing at HOYS or for a hack round the hills you'll always end up back in the tack room, sat with a cuppa talking about your adventures. That's what I want this part of my blog to be all about, sharing our love for horses and supporting each others journeys.

Plus I love trying out new products, matchy matchy, pampering and just generally 'playing ponies' so figured it normally all gets stored in the tack room too so thought it would be a fitting name for my horsey blog with it including reviews, new products, equestrian outfits etc along with my diary style entries.

So that pretty much sums up 'the tack room' and I hope you enjoy what it evolves into.

Speak soon,

Meg x
